@cantino, hate to dig up an old thread but, is there a status on this?
I can second this. I just came here looking for more resources after finishing the most recent version of what is now a book on elmprogramming.com and can't recommend it...

Interestingly, I get vertical borders but sometimes no Horizontal borders, take a look at the screenshot below..  Maybe using powerline would fix this for me.
I think I still need to tweak it some. I think the Pin layout ended up being wrong on it, but I can update it if @ruiqimao has any interest...
I think I worked all the kinks out, (based on the testing I did with the atreus I built) but again, I dont see much point in picking this back...
