For the small citation (on the trial details page) I'd suggest moving the year from the end to after the author and dropping the author's initial, thus: Kalron et al....
This was raised recently by a librarian at an OpenTrials workshop. They asked why there isn't a full citation (or at least the publication date) for any linked publications. N.B....
Fresh off some user testing with a science librarian - they said they would expect the publication citation to include more bibliographic information - namely journal title, at least first...
