On Monterey mutes mic and sound

On MacOs Monterey it mutes the microphone but also mutes sound.

"on your Touch Bar" disabled - can't add a button to Touch Bar

The menu option "on your Touch Bar" is greyed out and there is no way to put it on the touch bar again if you install it again
