This really would be awesome to get moving. This would be an awesome step forward, even though there is probable next steps to make this even more automated.

I'm sorry but currently there is no support for a custom callback when building the menu from a HTML5 menu element.

Yeah you are right, it could be beneficial to sandbox them a bit more to make things easier.

Currently there is no real way. I would love to fix those API's to provide the original events, but currently that is not that high on the priority list.
