@adoboligh1 it does, but the instance question has 6 cores at 2.2 GHz and 8 GB RAM and is serving one station. Should be plenty.

I've tried a few variations on the same block, but for whatever reasons it just seems to ignore it. I see the changes wind up in /matrix/vars.yml on the server...
Anyone have any other ideas? I'm just not sure why this isn't working.
This can be closed. Just did a native manual install of matrix and it worked like a charm.
