I'm OK with the proposed cop (sans the somewhat confusing name), although I'm not sure if it should Lint or Style. @rubocop/rubocop-core any thoughts?
Yep, I totally agree some reference would be useful here. Maybe we should also raise the visibility of this suggestion with a style guide entry?
Thinking about it even further - won't be it easier to just rename the changelog to `CHANGELOG`, so it's not rendered as Markdown? It's auto-generated anyways, so this want create...
For me the changelog is just a classic changelog - something that you scroll through to check out recent changes. For me it's all the same if the markdown is...
I'm still on the fence about the current proposal as it seems a bit weird to me to split the changelog within the boundaries of a single major RuboCop version...
