Totally agree. I even [started working on this](https://github.com/bartosz-maciaszek/validation/tree/feature/multiple_errors), but never finished it.
I am facing a similar issue. I want to protect subscriptions, but sadly `ctx.request` is `undefined` here when the connection is made using websockets whilst it works perfectly for queries...
