I remember from our meetings that this wasn't needed for 1.8.0

I haven't been able to reproduce this on my windows machine with one display of 1920 x 1080 and the other of 2560 x 1440 resolution.

I am still unable to replicate this issue with all the information shared. Tried different resolutions, scaling.

@dboun I am unable to reproduce this on Windows though.

Agreed..there is a workaround available.

@CBICA/devteam I faced this also recently when setting up the builds on crete and the VM The bundled qt.zip doesn't get extracted.

This needs a complete drawing rewrite.
