Online Monitor window on Mac takes permanently focus / goes to the top

Observed on "El Capitano" but also previous versions. (v1-5-dev) Difficult to do anything else while monitor is running.

Had a crash which emptied the runnumber.dat. Startup failed as the string to integer conversion failed. This should be checked and a counter measure taken, e.g. looking at the file...
