That is a great question. Dapr runs in standalone mode, not only Kubernetes, so the dashboard is useful for that too. In the future, Dapr will run on other runtimes...

BTW, it might be a good idea to build a Dapr plugin for Octant in addition to this dashboard. So, Octant users can see Dapr in their dashboard.
