Dashboard as an octant plugin?

VMware has a vibrant Kubernetes dashboard called octant with a working plugin system. Rather than building a complete separate dashboard, why not make this dashboard a plugin to octant?

That is a great question. Dapr runs in standalone mode, not only Kubernetes, so the dashboard is useful for that too. In the future, Dapr will run on other runtimes too. So, a dashboard built for Dapr makes sense.

BTW, it might be a good idea to build a Dapr plugin for Octant in addition to this dashboard. So, Octant users can see Dapr in their dashboard.
