I've been checking this with BitWig 3.2.8, but can't reproduce this. Do you always see the tiny window when clicking "show plugin window" button?

Oh yes, the deb package is being built against system boost already.

No problems with current Debian/Ubuntu systems. Build on Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) fails most likely due to incompatibilities with system boost libraries.
