Hello @dhermanns, seems not to be compatible, maybe it has the newer (cloud) wifi module like the user in https://github.com/arska/python-daikinapi/issues/6
As I don't have a device with cloud wifi module there's not so much I can contribute. If you're interested to work on this I'm happy to review and merge...
