zero length intervals are not handled properly.
cat test.bed
chr1 10 20
chr1 20 20
bedtools merge -i test.bed
chr1 10 21
Also seems to be incorrectly applying 1bp extensions for length 1 (start==end) in GFF.
I experienced the same thing with files containing exactly the same lines:
cat A.bed
chr1 210 210
chr1 210 210
bedtools merge -i A.bed
chr1 209 211
However:
cat B.bed
chr1 210 210
bedtools merge -i B.bed
chr1 210 210
Any planed correction of this bug in a close release ? Thanks
Hello, I am experiencing the same issue:
cat test.bed
chr1 119915306 119915306
..
chr1 119916711 119916711
bedtools merge -i test.bed | grep 11991671
chr1 119915305 119916712
is there any plan to fix this issue, any way to solve it? Thanks
