first snag: iOS safari does not seem to have window.performance.

Could you give some information about how you got this error to occur? On a simple 1-page flow I'm not seeing the same problem. Browser version would be good to...

I agree. It would be great if we could simply kill all javascript activity after determining that the page has "loaded" but after skimming the webkit protocol it doesn't look...
