I suspect low-memory devices (yours has 2GB of RAM) may have issues with unzipping a chapter. I don't have any particular ideas on improving this right now though.

I'd avoid genres for now, considering how inconsistent they can be across sources.
Tapping on tabs with animations disabled in the system doesn't animate the scroll. I don't think it'd make sense to rework the UX on any of the screens that are...
@Lightjohn Yeah that sounds nice. You could consider submitting a PR for that feature as well (i.e. splitting on download).

Does it happen if the security lock is disabled? Do you have a screen recording?
