@bsweeney - this is exactly what I needed. Not the most efficient, but it does the job so there is never a 2nd page generated (in my case at least)....

ReferenceError: deleteUrl is not defined?

I'm calling the libs from Yii2, and after testing it seems that $this->registerJs() breaks the variables. Not sure how, but it does. Tried different registerJs() params with the same result....
