closing since it's been many months, we can reopen if this still happens in Heroic 2.8.0

closing this since there's no answer since nov 2022 I'll assume it's working now, it can be reopened if it still fails

I just tested with 2.12.0 flatpak and dead cells linux native works out of the box

I did try to continue this a few weeks ago but then I had some issue and then some time at work that I didn't have time to do anything...

How can this be reproduced? because saves directory is usually not inside the install directory, unless we are talking about specific ways of installing games and specific games. I guess...
