how would this be different than the filters? because adding more elements feels the opposite of decluttering, but maybe I'm not understanding the big picture of the idea

This should be solved now, since legendary's SDL data was updated. Eventually, this other PR should make things more future-proof https://github.com/derrod/legendary/pull/724.
