Hey @WeaselScience, Its not very well documented, but the `controller` does not need to run on Cloud Nodes if you set the `HCLOUD_VOLUME_DEFAULT_LOCATION` environment variable to your preferred default location....

@resmo I moved the existing docs & e2e tests into sub dirs to make room for Nomand stuff :) You can check out the changes in #410.
Once we have some automated tests we can remove the "Not Officially Supported" warning from the README.
I would prefer to find the root cause for why this ("CSI controller gets out of sync somehow") happens, rather than trying to implement a potentially destructive workaround. #411 was...
