Did a little more digging on that file. It uses Inno Setup. It can be extracted (on Windows) with [UniExtract2](https://github.com/Bioruebe/UniExtract2) and probably with [innounp](http://innounp.sourceforge.net) and there's also the Mac utility...
Having trouble identifying Inno Setup installers. I might make a dev build though.
I'm still interested in bringing this enhancement ;)

Thanks for the feedback @BLahz. Do you have "Show in external volumes" enabled? Any log in the Console.app? @gingerbeardman are you having issues too? You have the extension disabled?
Might be a dupe of #734, if @BLahz also has multiple instances.
See if disabling "Show in external volumes" makes any difference, even if you do not attach any external volumes. I've yet to replicate this issue with no luck :(
@OmegaMetor some DMGs can be extracted, it depends on its internal format. All DMG files created with Keka can be extracted with Keka, for example. Can you check that one?...
