On osmc the odd time I am noticing it(dash or non-dash), will look more into it. In my case it looks like it's my audio hardware not initializing soon enough....

The latest inputstream.adaptive(2.1.6) has fixed the issue. Can now seek and there is no muting, and you can seek back to 0 as well. It's included in OSMC nightly 17.8-125,...

@drrak the low resolution issue is something different, and it's not something that I can easily fix in the add-on. It requires fixes else where as well.
