Well the reason is just that these PRs (#17 + #18 + #19) already exist. I don't see any reason to combine these to one.

Why? `^0.25.0` is fully compatible with latest. This would just break backwards compatibility

I mean sure, but it would be a major breaking API change.

I would probably just extract the current OpenAPI definition, modify it to create a new properly designed, restful version of the API and just expose it as a new major...
