Thanks for sharing. This fixed the issue I was having trying to install this package on Python 3.10.5

set_sample_width(3) sets sample width to 32 bit instead of 24 bit

Also experiencing this issue. 24-bit is a common format in audio production so it is surprising that it isnt not supported. I believe the issue is related to this piece...
