I had a similar problem. I just deleted the g2opy folder, cloned this repo and just copy pasted the build instructions. After an hour of working on it, it magically...

I deleted everything related to g2opy and then restarted my installation

I have not idea what program you guys are talking about, but I am having the same error on Canvas Instructure.
