I get the following console output from the program after and the process just hangs after that, does anyone have any solutions?

Please share the SDF you are trying to load/convert. A <joint>'s <axis> seems to miss its <limit>, cf. https://github.com/andreasBihlmaier/pysdf/blob/master/src/pysdf/parse.py#L703
