It happened to our team as well, sporadically on our cheap build server in Azure (Standard_F4s_v2). We changed to a faster machine (Standard_D8s_v3), and it has not happened since.

This is only labelled with exporter/kafka, but would the implementation also be usable for receiver/kafka? Or would that require a seperate issue?
For environments that are not offline, but secured by a firewall, having the schema somewhere more specific than `raw.githubusercontent.com` would also help, as a workaround.
@shaun-nx Is there any news about this? Currently we have to deploy failing dummy-applications (with ap-policies) to be able to roll out App Protect at all.
