I discovered this had 4.4 in the title, so I've added it to the milestone for now.

I've removed the "with squashfs" part of the title for sake of argument right now. We have done this in practice, for example, by just exporting part of the node...

One feature request here is to allow reference to container paths in warewulf.conf. For example ``` nfs: export paths: - path: {{ containers['rocky-8-split'] }}/opt export options: rw,sync,no_root_squash mount: false ```...

aarch64 containers are now being built automatically as part of the container build process. For example, see here: https://github.com/hpcng/warewulf-node-images/actions/runs/5920641656/job/16052172476

@scarycall are you still having this issue? I haven't encountered this, but if it's still an issue can you suggest a way to reproduce it?

@mslacken this issue is to _raise_ the question of unprivileged users touching `nodes.conf`. Flagging for future discussion.

Fixed in #564.
