I've also stumbled upon this issue. Changing default acl settings to "private" helped, and "s3:PutObjectAcl" permissions mentioned by @mattpramschufer were unnecessary. > define('S3_UPLOADS_OBJECT_ACL', 'private'); Hope it helps.
