I've done some more lurking. Dat.gui's color controller is 300 LOC without the alpha support. I think 300 LOC would make lil-gui not-so-lil, and ColorWithAlpha is better as a controller...

This looks a bit stale, what's the latest? As long as the Controller class is exported from the package, it looks like custom controllers could be supported with an API...
