Leaning toward closing this, as solving/mitigating this in kaocha-cljs2 makes more sense.
This seems like an issue we would like to address but it's never quite reached the top of our TODO list. I'm inclined to leave it open for the time...
Hi @WillForan, a (belated) thank you for the issue! I think we can add some documentation around this.
I think this is a reasonable thing to document (and should be a pretty quick fix), so I'm leaving this open.
Kaocha-cljs2 is going to be our focus moving forward, but we'd welcome a PR that improves integration between Shadow-CLJS and Kaocha-cljs.
Looks like this was fixed shortly after. I haven't yet double-checked it by running kaocha-cljs with tools.reader 1.3.3 (or whatever succeeded 1.3.2) yet.
This is a bug (or an incompatibility I think we'd prefer not to have), so it makes sense to leave this open as an extant issue. If we decide to...
We'd welcome an alternative `repl-env` but I don't think developing it will be a priority for us.
I think this is a consequence of our use of the REPL to execute code, but I'm not sure. There may not be any sort of out of the box...
