Alternatively, you can extract the DEB archive and then repack the contents into RPM (you have to write the SPEC file).

@ForlornWongraven can you try it again? I pushed new build for Fedora 27, 28, 29 and Rawhide. I already tested on Fedora 27 and it works fine. 

You also need the *-devel packages.

I really don't know why we need other repository, instead use official repository from Fedora?
