AFAIK the idea of this autoCraftingTable was to have overly complicated redstone mechanisms to craft something instead of just assigning a recipe and simply using it. Wasn't it?

This'll be cooler after the bound variable removing so we can intern both the `String` and its `StringValue`.

It was mentioned in the release, but it hasn't been fixed yet. I don't think it was expected to be disabled for so long, that's why docs weren't changed.

What does "direct_power" give? I don't find it clear from the name.

Maybe the same system from extensions could be used for Carpet stuff as well, given from some quick prototyping it's quite flexible and fast.

Attaching all Carpet data via tokens would also aid compatibility for non-extensions, given some mods that modify the player list integrate with Carpet loggers via those player maps.

Well if you opt-in to the library, it will do it, but the lib would tell you what it does. Could always have a param or something to decide whether...
