Having same issue, could this be looked into? Using `-source:*...*` seems to exclude all posts which don't have a source, which isn't the behaviour which I think most people would...

Since making this issue I noticed that animated GIFs are included in the gallery, how does that work? Is only the first frame of the GIF considered?
