Same issue. I'm searching for solution.

This wont work in Android Studio because, there is no support for gradle. Btw, Android Std uses gradle.

I created a pr for the obj-c support at genstrings [here](https://github.com/marmelroy/Localize-Swift/pull/90) Still waiting to be merged.
