I have no problems with the latest version of Mint (4.14.2) on my iPhone 6 with xCon 42b2.

I just opened Authy 19.6 on iOS 9.3.3 (iPhone 6) with xCon 42b2 and saw all of my 2-factor codes without a problem.

Were you using "+" -> "Upload Photos"? I was just able to add one successfully on iOS 9.3.3, xCon 42b2, Dropbox 14.2.
