We have the same issue, with oidc and self hosted runners. Every time we restart the failed workflow, it works. Can it be that idle runners get into a broken...
This went away with the thumbprint change, but started happening again today. @lkeijmel can you also see the issue on your side?
I have the same issue on self hosted runner based on ubuntu 20.04, thank you for the workaround! Did anyone already try this on ubuntu 22.04 runners?
