This sounds very useful. We were actually thinking about functionality like this. Any thoughts about how to sort out when a restart vs a rebuild is needed?

I think restart-only makes sense. Just thought i'd throw the rebuild curveball in case you come up with anything non-obvious there.

Hi Nick, It feels we'll need to build our own deployment script to amazon as well. Perhaps on top of CoreOS boxes, or using Serf. Yeah, it's not clear yet...

I suppose if we're being ambitious, wifi connect could store the movements the user makes on the captive portal page as part of the authentication information, and replay those movements...
