Did you see issue #67? It contains some advice and a fix for a very similar, if not identical, problem to yours.

Not to my knowledge and I doubt there's much appetite for one. But out of curiosity, what exactly would you want a chrome extension for Tomboy to do for you?

Jeremy is right, this does seem to be a regression. The issue is not present in my Tomboy 1.15.4 on Ubuntu 16.04.

The following examples, which use the hexadecimal space, work for me on Linux: `///full/path/file%20name` `~/dir/file%20name`
