I have not tested sioyek on WSL. Why don't you just use the windows version of sioyek?

Yeah it seems to be a MacOS-specific issue. I don't have a Mac so it is hard for me to debug.
This is fixed in the development branch.
How long do you mean approximately? Also what is your `prefs_user.config`?
