@shaunmulligan As far as I remember, this was dropped from 2.0 release. Can we close it?
Which is the current status, right?
My understanding was that we currently don't see this as something we want to have anymore. I might be wrong though so we can reopen if needed.

Indeed we got to the same conclusion but the project we are using (docker) didn't drop boltdb . We still investigate this and will update as we have updates. CC...
I would firstly try to reproduce this with an io stress program. Once that is easy to trigger, attach a serial and reproduce over serial and see if that freezes...
