Agreed! This issue should be resolved. The problem I see at the moment is, that this would cause a recreation of kubeconfig and hence the recreation of all nodes :-/...

Don't set the `self_hosted`flag to `true`. We will deprecate the self hosted mode soon, since it has some drawbacks in terms of stability. I need to look into the Designate...

There is a possibility to plugin a new DNS provider into kubify. You will need to modify the DNS module[0] and add a new submodule for your DNS provider (Azure)...

Unfortunately RKE doesn't seem to have CoreOS support. Need to also have a deeper look into Atomic.
