There is no need for native syslog support on a systemd/journald environment. Output to stderr/stdout apears in journal.

Can confirm: - tests working in phpunit10, php8.2 - not working in phpunit12, php8.3 with process isolation enabled

I can try to debug this. But I need some relevant code entry points for the isolated processes.

isolated tests working in PHP 8.3.17, phpunit 12.0.5 when ```ini xdebug.mode=gcstats[,coverage] ``` or with listening xdebug ```ini xdebug.mode=debug[,coverage] xdebug.start_with_request=yes ```
