PyScenic ctx output (AUC values) [results]

I used pyscenic ctx in CLI and my output has AUC values (third column) What does this mean exactly? I only have values below 0.4. This means that all regulon has no direct target significantly. Does this make no biological sense to me? And what does NES (4. column) mean?
