Fixes a very small corner case in parquet-avro if reflection of abstract generic fields is used.

Doesn't seem to be much support anywhere to decompress snappy files pulled down from hdfs.

libairspyhf has some slight different APIs. I might take a crack at porting but don't really know what I'm doing.
