Strange : I have a dozen SFTP services configured, I just tried test.rebex.net and it works with SFTP and regular FTP... Then I re-entered all my passwords, and it worked...

With the latest nextcloud update, it's working again for me... So it's probably (again) related to some regressions from core nextcloud code, which apparently got fixed.
