My issue might be related to this. giantbomb.com hangs when you are logged in and Downworthy is enabled (even with no other extensions enabled).
Still hangs giantbomb.com so I'll open up a new issue for that.
Couldn't you add a Chromeless.start() to the beginning of your code and not call Chromless.end() until all tests are completed?
