The shoes-related part of this is not ideal (I should instead make `Character::is_wearing_shoes` aware of the difference between feet and foot soles and use it) but for now I think...
Something to note: vehicle tiles are, conceptually, not the same size as terrain tiles. (Otherwise every car in the game is *humongous*!) I don't think there is an exact standard...
