Does this version of the console have issues with "Backup Disks"? My PSone (SCPH-101) can read backup disks both Japan and USA fine burned at 8x. The 7001 reads USA...

Could be me or maybe a real problem. First off I know once jailbroken what the point of it but.... Games like Super Mario, Zelda, are a random graphic mess....
