I run into the same problem. When using a proxy the default download timeout (of **180 seconds**) is used. You can adjust this with [download_timeout](https://doc.scrapy.org/en/latest/topics/request-response.html#download-timeout) or via its [setting](https://doc.scrapy.org/en/latest/topics/settings.html#download-timeout)

Why not use the DirectSound backend of openal-soft on Windows and leave XAudio alone for now? If you want to have XAudio, work on openal-soft.

No, i didn't get it to work. I used pandas instead. I load the Sql Data into a DataFrame which is displayed nicely.
